Waybill Creator - Format 2 - Version 2.1 as of 05/31/15
This section is currently under construction.
This is the second iteration of Waybill Creator. It was yet another suggestion by a user. The format for the Waybills is 12 per 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper, and are printed 3 wide and 4 deep, creating 12 Waybills per page. The individual Waybills measure 2.8 inches wide and 2.75 inches high.
Steve,
There are two files that make up this Creator. The first is WBC4JMRI_Appl.xls. This stands for WayBill Creator For JMRI Application. The second is WBC4JMRI_Form.xls. This stands for WayBill Creator For JMRI Form. By separating the form from the application allows updates to the application without changing any modifications you have made to the form.
There are two sheets in the Form. The first is Form and the second is Format. The Format sheet simply shows you what goes where on the Waybill. Formatting should be done on the Form. You may modify the Form to your liking. You may do this as many times as you like AND it will not change should there be an update to the application!
There are three settings or Preferences on the Preference sheet in the Appl. These allow you to turn ON (YES) or OFF (NO) Print Preview, Print Hardcopy, and Save File to Hard Drive. I would think that most of the time you would want to set them as follows:
Print Preview - NO
Print Hardcopy - YES
Save File - NO
But you are free to do as you wish. To change them simply click on the Preference Tab, make the changes, and then click on the Welcome Tab when finished.
NOTE: Print preview does not function proper in Excel versions greater than 10. I have attempted many different things to overcome some change made by Micro Soft to the Print Preview function but so far it remains a mystery.
You will fin some skimpy Instructions on the Documentation Tab. To read them simply click on the Documentations Tab or better yet click on the View (Limited) Documentation button on the Welcome Screen. Return by simply clicking on the Welcome Tab or better yet by clicking on the Return to Welcome Screen button on the Instructions screen.
Thanks to Steve for his design, testing, a patience with the development process.

WARNING: It appears that some browser or operating systems are converting the .xlsm extension to xlsx. The MC contains macro code and at times folks use this to infiltrate your system. If you have issues and see that the extension has been changed to .xlsx, you will need to 'rename" the file and change the extension from .xlsx to .xlsm. If this does occur, I would like to know what browser and operating system you used when downloading the file. NOTE: .xls versions are not affected.

Sample Output and Description
This version of Waybills from JMRI produces 12 Waybills per 8.5x11 printed page. There are no lines separating the waybills. This way they can be cut on a paper cutter without worrying to cut on the lines. It just makes the process faster. Lines can be added by changing the Format Tab in the control file. Only Locomotive and Car Pickups are generated. When these cars are delivered to their destination, they will become pickups on the next cycle for this train.
This format was requested by Jerry Hampton (I believe). Many additional fields can be added. Card size could be changed. And a plethora of other modifications can be made upon request.
